Cancer Cancer brings with it many risk factors, especially it is one of the
most deadly diseases. So we must pay attention to the type of foods we're consuming, and start eating foods
rich in nutrients that has help a lot of people reduce this cancer risk. Foods rich in fiber like oatmeals,
vegetables, fruits and 100% fruit juice are helpful in preventing the risk of cancer.
However, by making some
simple adjustments in your diet by including foods like beans and cruciferous vegetables like broccoli,

radicals in our body.
Tomatoes are rich in lycopene which contain an antioxidant phytochemical that helps in heart
disease but are also rich in vitamins E, C, and A, which are all helpful against cancer. Use tomatoes in different
food preparations like salad and home-made pizzas. You might as well use them as fillings for your burgers and
sandwiches. Watermelon is also a good source of antioxidants, and contains around 80 percent of our daily vitamin C
requirement. Not known to many, it also is a great source of vitamin A or what we commonly call as beta carotene
from carrots. It also contains lycopene like tomatoes. Cabbage, a cruciferous vegetable can help reduce
the risk of colon and rectal cancer. In addition, cabbage is a good source of fiber and has rich vitamin C content,
making it a versatile superfood which prevents cancers. Carrots, like squash are also a good source of fiber and
beta carotene, and they have around three times vitamin A-giving power than any other food. Kidney beans is also
rich in fiber and protein. Whole wheat pasta is also a good source of fiber, and broccoli are excellent source for
vitamin A and C . Include them in your favorite low-fat Italian dressing for a lovable dinner with cancer-fighting
quantities.
Some fruits, like strawberries and blueberries are rich in vitamin C and fiber. They're easily eaten
wherever your are and can blend on your favorite breakfast like whole grain cereal oatmeal and low-fat yogurt.
